I use Windows Vista Media Center to play DVD-video, since Vista already have built-in DVD decoder. However, it can only display video in 4:3. I tried to play with Windows Media Player, still in 4:3 aspect ratio.

How to set so that it will display in wide screen (16:9 aspect ratio)?

Thanks

  2. To set the aspect ratio of a DVD, begin playing the movie, right click anywhere and select "Zoom".  Select it as many times as nesessary to achieve the correct aspect ratio.

  3. right click on ur desktop go to personlize ur settings and go to video resolutions u should figure it out from there thats how i did mine i switched to a 32 " flatpanle and it recongnized it as a 16:9 so it gave me an option to change the resolution
