How to set group settings to be temporarily able to read emails, but not be allowed 2 send them?

i have a worm in my computer, due to which unwanted email messages are sent from my email id to the yahoo groups, of which i'm a member.

I want to temporarily change my group settings such that it allows me to receive the grup emails, but not send any from my own computer.

How do i turn my group settings to one way (i.e. reception but not sending).

My group moderator was not able to find such an option to change my group settings.

Any feature in the group that could enable my moderator or me to make that temporary setting?

there is only a setting to receive mail, not send, except

1) put you on moderated post status

or

2) under members list- click edit memebrship- scroll down next page Posting Messages:    Override: This member's posts are always moderated (Edit) <-- click the edit, bottom next page check This member can't post messages. clcik save changes.

most times viruses attach to address book- remove all your contacts.
