How to set my monitor for proper photo-retouching?

I use Nikon NEF format (raw) for saving my photos. I have recently bought a new LG Flatron L1552S monitor and I am having problems in calibrating it.

I want my monitor to show what my camera shows and further my printer to print the same again. I use sRGB in my camera.

  1. The best way would be to use a colorimeter to match your monitor to your camera. PC Photo has an article about them. You can find it at:
