How to set up a PC subwoofer on TV?

  1. For a proper setup, you need to connect TV SUB-out (RCA) to your active sub-woofer R/L-in (RCA). But I don't think your TV has a SUB-out. So you need either an AV receiver or an Equaliser( with build-in SUB-out port) connecting your TV and active SUB.

    note: The picture looks like it's an active speaker not a sub-woofer ^^


  2. You won't be able to do this without a receiver!

    You will not want to send a full level signal to that sub as using the set up  would mean your regular speakers would not work.

    You need a device to down mixing and level control, case in point a receiver.
