How to set up a netgear router?

I have AT&T DSL and I have been trying to set up my Netgear router. I've tried setting it up but the connection still won't work, even when I use an ethernet from the router to my computer. When I try the wireless, my computer tells me I am connected and the signal is good, but pages will not load. When setting up the router I know I put "other" as connection type and put in my member id and pw. I set the ip and dns to dynamic. I don't know why it's not working. Can anyone shed some light?

After you enter any neccecary usernames/passwords/etc. it should work.

Try rebooting the modem and router by unplugging them both for 10 seconds.  This forces them to reload their settings and redetect what's connected - which fixes 99% of problems.
