when my father built his garage he piped the floor in 6 zones on manifolds for in floor heating. He has a wood boiler and an oil boiler. I know about basic plumbing and understand how these systems work, but i would like to be sure. Is this how to plumb this? Boiler hot teed to expansion tank and mixing valve "hot", mixing valve "mix" to circulator pump to "hot" manifold to floor to cold manifold to mixing valve "cold" AND boiler cold, with the circulator being controlled by a thermostat? I have searched the internet and havent found too much information other than basic diagrams. Thanks

  1. When you set up this system you really need to know the lengths of runs , The elevation of runs , and be familiar with these systems. You need steve http://www.radiantsteve.com/index.html

    He knows whats up
