How to set up a wireless connection from Windows XP to my PSP?

I need to know all the steps, all the equipment, and all of the everything that i need to know to get a wireless connection in my house because i want to use my PSP around the house instead of my computer.

What kind of software do i need? there is this thing on my all programs that is a Wireless network Set up wizzard but idk what to do with it.

I have a usb cable for my psp to be hooked up to my computer

i guess i have the older version of the PSP

  1. You don't need software... you need a wireless router.  Your computer cannot broadcast a wireless network.  By a router, follow the setup instructions... and connecting should be a breeze!


  2. you just need to hook up your PC to a wireless router and then use the network setup wizard on you PSP and it should find the network.

You need a wireless router to provide the wireless network and a wireless adapter for the PSP to connect to it.  You can connect the computer to the router with a cable (it comes with the router), or wirelessly (you'd have to buy a wireless adapter for the computer).  That's all you need.  Just follow the instructions with each device.  (I'd recommend the Linksys WRT54GS router - at Wal-Mart for $50.  Adapters of your choice, but I'd stick with Linksys.)
