How to set up my shaw tv remote?

I was wondering how I could set my shaw remote so my volume button works.

Press and Hold in the SETUP key until the RED light flashes twice and then release the SETUP key

Enter in 9-9-3

Press and release the Device key from which you want volume to be controlled.
