How to set up wireless internet?

I just bought an apple laptop and i have a desktop in the den but its just connected to the internet by the modem. What do i need to buy so that my laptop and hp desktop can both have internet? Also will there be a problem because one is a PC and one is a MAC?

You need only one router if your both laptop and mac has got wireless card. Then connect modem to the router and then the router the pc and make configuration.

You just need to make one configuration and the mac just connect to the router wirelessly or wired. you put only the security key wep or wap.

You only need wireless if your use for the device requires pure mobility.

go get a linksys wireless router. won't be a problem between PC's, do a google search on how to set up a mac/windows network
