How to settle at a new school?

School starts next week. I just moved to a new city.I'm going to a new school and i'm a pretty shy and quiet person. I really dunno what to do exactly. I need some tips on how to get through being a new kid at school >.<.

I had to start my new school as a senior. O_o

It&#039;s not easy, but the best thing you can do is just put yourself out there. Join some clubs, play some sports, introduce yourself to the people sitting around you. If you&#039;re really shy, think of some conversation starters. Maybe ask where your next class is, what&#039;s good for lunch, etc. Once people realize you&#039;re new, they&#039;ll be glad to be your friend.

Just be a nice person and talk to people. That really is the only thing. There is no magic formula. All you can do is talk to people.
