  3. Take whatever price and add the bottom and top together and divide by the bottom ...ie 15/8 (23 divide by *8) this will give you a return to a £1 (stake included).£2.875

    For doubles or more same applies ie 15/8 and 7/4 ie

    23 divide by 8 multiply by 11 divide by 4 easy peasy on a calculator

  4. There is a wide variety of bets that you can place and would take a day to explain on here.

    Singles are easiest. If odds are 9/1 then you add 1 which will give you a basic factor of 10.

    You then multiply 10 by your stake eg 10 x £5 = £50

  5. This site is as good as any for calculating returns.  It's quicker  to learn to calculate odds in your head though, especially when at the course or for in-running bets.
