  3. I think that you are talking about having a carnival somewhere, and not owning your own carnival. Owning your own carnival costs tons, and tons of money. We are talking about more than a millionaire in rides if you want to a quality carnival.

For the other way, you need a carnival company. You look at their rides on the Internet (A lot of carnival companies have websites.), and you contact them. You than fill a contract with them. They get a certain percantage of the money, and you do.

A lot of carnivals have bingo, and food separate from the carnival. If you are able to get donated food, or cheaper food, you can sell it, and make more money than renting spaces to vendors that are nearby (Restaurants in a certain city wherever this carnival is).

You need tents for the bingo, and tents for the food so the food doesn't get soggy, and so they can grill it. You need places for the people to eat. You need to arrange to have police, and ambulance at the carnival just incase something happens. For the bingo, you need a license.

Some places that have carnivals like to have their own games including the carnival owned games. So, buy prizes for the game, and get some trailers for that. We are talking about the tickets in the container, and if you pick 88 at the end of the number, you get this so prize. You need someplace to go bathroom because if people have to go, they have to go.

Get some porta potty's. You have to think about parking. Where are these people going to park? Can they park on the festival grounds on the grass, or somewhere else? You need a place to put all this stuff. If a carnival were to held at a park in the parking lot, you obviously can't have any doings during that week because the carnival has to setup somehow.

Around here, the carnival trucks come on Monday, and they start setting them up on Tuesday, and Wednesday. You need an inspector to inspect the rides to make sure they are safe for the public. On Thursday, they operate but you can have them operate on a Wednesday, but it will cost you more money. What are the hours for this fest?

Does the carnival you choose offfer megapasses, and where can people get them to get them ahead of time because usually they don't sell them when the carnival is going on. Entertainment is a good thing also, and it doesn't come cheap, but carnivals usually bring in a lot of money unless you have bad weather.

You need a stage for the entertainment, and speakers along with microphones unless the bands bring their own. You need lighting also. Some carnivals have face-painting if you want that, and some have animals with pay Pony rides along with Radio Stations.

Get some Radio Station to appear at your carnival for nice publicity. You should have a website to advertise your carnival, and you can hang up posters around town. Maybe, you can hang them up in stores that their is a carnival in town. Festing.com is a good advertisement also but it's not as good as hanging up signs, or putting it somewhere like in the paper, or on your own website.
