How to setup modem c2110 usb in ubuntu linux 8.04?

I'm using adsl siemens modem c2110.I don't have ethernet card.so i'm using usbconnection by installing a software.Internet is working good in xp.But i cant install that software.So internet is not working in ubuntu linux.PLEASE ,kindly suggest someother way for this.
