How to setup play tv with the ps3?

i'm getting a ps3 and play tv for my room but my ariel cable is downstairs.

is there any other way of connecting the play tv box with the ariel.

e.g could i buy one of those mini ariels that you can have inside? (i haven't got good coverage for that...).

You need an aerial that's good enough to pick up the digital freeview signal. There might be some mini-aerials that can do it, but setting up another socket from your main one upstairs (or getting someone to do it) isn't a massive task.
