How to sewing advice, i need to expand a child pants waist band on some pants?

I'm not sure what your asking about.  

But, if you need to expand a waist band, you could add a strip of material down the sides of the pants or take out any darts to widen the top of the pants.  Then replace the waistband with a new one that is longer.
