I'm breeding mice for snake food and i need to tell male from female as not to feed off all of the boys or girls

How easy it is depends on the age of the mice....

For the first few days, while they are "pinkies" you need to look at the ano-genital gap. The gap is longer in the males. It can be difficult to judge this if you are inexperienced - it helps to compare them with eachother.

Once they start to get some fur it becomes a bit easier as the ano-genital distance will be easier to assess and you will be able to see the nipples on the females.

You can also look at the fur. Males have fur in the ano-genital gap (between p***s and a**s), females do not so it looks like a little line.
