  1. could be your clutch not working ,i.e cable may be stretched check this first, if not sounds like g/box prob and you may have to go to a garge for repair or take out and buy a seconed hand one...

  2. hold clutch and shift.

  3. if you click up "hard" from 1st, you will skip neutral and go to 2nd...neutral is the only gear you can "skip"

if you click up hard from 2nd, you will be in 3rd, etc...

the shifter returns to the "center" position between every shift...

  4. Down from neutral is first, up twice from first is second, up one more is third, up one more is fourth. When you switch gears once you release the clutch it will stay in the same position until you squeeze the clutch and move it.

  5. Down shift for one and kick up for 2,3,4,even 5 it can jump a gear if you kick up to hard and when uor going to one if yuo dont kick hard enough yuoll find yuor self in neutral..

  6. actually as u r vehicle is slowing down then itself it will go nutral then wen u wanna speed up its just like u r vehicle has AI

wen it speed up it goes to 2nd gear

  7. Hold the clutch and than change the gear

  8. From neutral tap down once and that is first. Lift your toe up hard and that should be second, up again and that is third etc. Neutral should have an indicator light on the speedo or tach or somewhere VERY visible. If you don't see it when the bikes is freewheeling, you have a blown bulb or bad switch. I always keep count in my head and listen to the engine. Shadows don't have tachs.

  9. Either the tranny needs repair or the operator just isn't as intelligent as the motorcycle.

  10. The MSF course will teach you all that and more.  Sign up and take it.

  11. press d clutch 2 d fullest while changin gears it ll avoid gear skipping or dropping...stil if d problem occurs den get d gear box checked.

  12. This is how a sequential gearbox works compared with the H pattern that most cars have, (the H gearbox is at the top of the article)

The selector lever will always return to its starting point. You can click up or down two or more gears but you have to let the lever return to the resting position in between each gear, the only time this isn't the case is the step between first, neutral and second (or vice versa).

  13. Ok you're confusing yourself.

THINK OF IT AS A HAMBURGER

1st the the bottom bun, Neutral is the meat, 2nd gear is the top bun.

To find neutral navigate with your foot either up or down depending what gear you're in already. The shifter should not feel stiff when it's in neutral, it should move/jiggle and have a bit of play. The bike will roll by itself now also. Never shift without the clutch, unless the bike's engine is off.

Once you're in first you can't down shift anymore. Once you're in 5th or 6th (depending on your bike) you can't upshift anymore.
