How to shift on a motorcycle?

when you shift on a motorcycle does it have to be like clutch first shift then let go or u can shift and press clutch at the same time so u can do it fast and easily

  1. pull clutch in, shift, let clutch out. simple as that.

    but on 2 strokes you don't need to clutch, but you will ruin your bike that way.

You can actually upshift without the clutch if you want to shift really fast.  If you preload the shift lever then roll off the throttle quickly it will unload the transmission and allow you to shift with no clutch (essentially the same thing the electronic shifters do except manually instead of electronically).  I only recommend this for advanced riders, if done improperly it can cause damage to the transmission.  If done correctly this will do no damage.

  3. first you pull in the cluch shift down into first second you get the bike in to high RPMS then yuo pull in the cluch and shift up and then repeat to shift down you do the same but only downwards

  4. when u are already going: pull cluch in let off gas a little then u shift and let go of the clutch.
