Question:

How to shotgun a beer?..Please Help!?

Hi everyone..I'm trying to learn how to shotgun beer...and umm...i need to know a couple things...please answer them all, with detail...

Okay, i need to know EXACTLY where to poke the hole, so that it doesn't spray out..and i need to hold it horrizontaly and at a certain angle or something?...

But more importantly...

Umm...How to do I Shotgun it a lot FASTER..

Whenever I shotgun, i do it in about 7 seconds...i need to improve really bad, and please don't just say open your throat, i really need to get a good explanation...

So PLEASE help me, i do drink responsible, so dont tell me that, and please give me a good explanation thanks in advance...later!

  2. the hole goes right above the bottom and don't just make a small hole take a sharp knife and make a big slit then use your thumbs to open up the slit so it's about 1/2 an inch wide and about 1/2 an inch tall. hold your beer horizontally put your mouth over the hole than open the beer as you raise it up.  the beer will rush in so quickly that all you have to do is swallow as many times as you can as fast as you can.  if you want you can practice with a non-fizzy canned pop like an iced tea or something.  if you still can't chug it any faster than 7 seconds and you did everything i said than it's not your fault it just means that you are physically incapable of chugging any faster than this and that you can blame on genetics.

  3. ok hold the can horizontal and jam a knife or a key or something sharp into the can towards the bottom, then put your mouth over the hole you just made, tilt your brew up, pop the top and chug-a-lug till the beers gone....there, you just learned how to "shotgun" a beer

  4. this is truly hilarious.  OK - there is a great 80's movie - "The Sure Thing" with John Cusak.  It shows you EXACTLY how to shotgun a beer.  She doesn't do it right (chokes), but the prep is correct.  Good luck and remember - beer before liquor never sicker - liquor before beer, all is clear.

  5. hold beer can up, near the bottom of the can tilt it away from you a little bit, take a steak knife and puncture a good sized hole in the can while holding the can tilted away from you .

    when you make the hole, immediately put the can to your mouth

    while the can is to your mouth, open the top of the can and that release the pressure and you guzzle it fairly quickly....
