Ok i know how horrible i sound here..but here we go have you ever had any one call multiple times a day for years and always want to see you? Because i am having this very problem and still want to talk to and see this friend but not as much as she would like because it is a lot.......i just want her to contact me less because i find dealing with it every day very exhausting plus difficult due to lack of conversation ...know what i mean?

  1. I don't know

  2. If as you say, this person is a friend of yours then feel free to tell her that you are extremely busy and don't have time to talk right now and could you please call her back when you do have time.  Do call her back but much later like the next day. Then in that conversation hint that you are very busy and will call her when the chance arises. Keep doing this until she gets the hint

  3. Im kinda having the same problem too. Just tell your friend that you are growing busy these days and dont have time to talk to him. I do it and it's actually effective in my case.

  4. You can explain to her that you're very busy these days and simply don't have time to talk but you will give her a call when things let up, or let the answering machine pick up.

  5. You need to be honest with her and tell her that you like talking with her but that you don't have time for multiple phone calls in one day.  Ask her if she can limit her calling to once a day or once a week and tell her you do like it when she calls but when she calls repeatedly everyday,  you really run out of new things to say and end up repeating yourself.  As long as you ensure that it is the frequent calling and not her that is annoying you you should be ok.  I find that when you're honest with people they sometimes surprise me with their reactions and usually say, "well why didn't you say so sooner?".  So, honesty is the best policy.  She may be a bit shocked at first but she'll come around.  If she doesn't then perhaps it was nearing the end of your friendship anyway.  Wish you luck!
