Question:

How to sleep early again for school tomorrow?

I have to sleep early tonight because my plan to stay up late the night before and wake up at 6 didn't work. Should I do the same procedure again or should I try something else? And I can't go to the store today so no answers like get lavender. Tommorow is my first day of middle school.

  1. Sorry!  No quick fix secrets or Magic Dust to help you fall asleep.  Maybe a glass of milk 30 minutes prior to bedtime would relax you enough to fall asleep.  Try not to think about all the excitement ahead of you tomorrow.  It's only natural to be a little anxious about your first day of school - in any grade.   You need to try to get yourself into a nightly routine of going to bed at a certain time & not vary from it - so your biological clock can get regulated.  Good Luck.


  2. Do some exercise tonight.  Like take a run or a brisk walk.  No caffeine, or soda pop.  Wait till you're a little tired, drink some warm milk, and in a day or two you'll be back on schedule.   Remember, you've done it every year before!  Your adrenaline will get you through tomorrow.

    So have fun seeing old friends and meeting new ones!  :)
