How to slow dance?

Is the only slow dance in which where the guy puts his hands around the girl's waist, and the girl puts her arms on the guy's shoulders. Also, if you are slow dancing with another girl who is just a friend do you dance the same way?

The more common way to slow dance is the way you described. But if your with the person (your date) you can make it hotter by moving your hands from her hips to use your imagenation. If shes just a friend better stick with hands around the neck.
