  1. The biggest myth in the world is that you can somehow do something to sober up quicker than you normally would... you can't. You sober up over time. One hour per drink.

    Drinking coffee or red bull, or taking a cold shower, or popping an anti-hangover pill... none of these will make you less drunk. If you get drunk and then you have to talk to your parents, then you're an idiot. Plan ahead and give yourself enough time to sober up between drinking and having to seem sober. Because the only cure for being drunk is time.


  2. The only way to quickly sober is flashing cop lights / being interviewed by a cop. I know people always say there is no way to sober up besides time, but everytime I come face and face to the law, I sober up quite quickly. It's mostly psychological.

  3. Go to a fast food restaurant and get a juicy hamburger.  I oil and bread will help you sober up quickly.  It will also send you to the bathroom, but you will feel a lot better.

  5. The way to sober up quickly isn't an option for most people, you need an IV to pump fluids (salt water) through your bloodstream.  

    If you get taken to the hospital for being too drunk they'll give you a bag full of fluids and you'll sober up instantly.  Maybe you should find an EMT or paramedic to make friends with.

    Eat A LOT. Figure out how many beers you can drink where you still look sober. Say that the number is 4. If you have 4 hours before your parents see you, then you can drink 8. (8 beers, lose 1 beer's effect per hour) 1 beer= 1 shot

    The only real way to get sober fast is to get an IV drip, but obviously thats not available to anyone.

  8. First off, i can guarentee some a**hole is gunna tell you not to drink.

    Secondly, you can each starches (ex. tostitos chips, etc) but for the most part just try to lean against stuff so you don't stumble around and if they ask you a question all you can really do is try your very best to act sober.  Next time you get drunk, practice acting sober for a small amount of time and see how good you are.  Thats what i do and my parents never noticed a thing!  One time i was drunk right in front of my mom trying to put my broken glasses back together and you can imagine how poor my attempts at fixing them were lol.

    * drink plenty of water

    * drink a small shot of vodka (strange but helps with the hang over)

    * brush teeth, breath saver

    * AND NEXT TIME DON'T DRINK!

  12. I heard that this soup called Caldo works well. Anyways, I don't know how you would get a hold of it if your coming home early in the morning. Its sounds to me like your just going to have to face the consequence of your actions. Hope you learned something from this.

  15. Hydrate yourself, drinking water, or a drink high in electrolytes (these are depleted in the blood stream, while drinking)

    Eat something. This dilutes the alcohol content in your bloodstream. I'd suggest something high in potassium, like a banana.

    Nothing truly sobers you up, like time.

  16. just don't get drunk if you know you'll have to deal with that, it ruins the whole experience.  if you wanna get drunk, drink when they're asleep, out of town, or something
