How to solve inventory holding cost, which customer have paid on the medicine but not collected on time.?

Customer have paid the $ on the product, but not collected on time. Let say customer collect 6 months later, the goods may already expire and not the fresh as earlier.

  2. It's a matter of contract.  If it is clear that goods are sold "as is, where is" basis, the customers will have to take the goods in the state and condition at the time the contract was concluded.  

    Also, if the contract stipulates a collection period, the customers in not collecting the goods within that period, would have breached a term of the agreement, and must accept the consequences spelt out, which may include additional cost for warehousing, or resale or disposal of the goods.

    What is important is that these terms are explained to the customers before they contract with you, and that they fully understand the respective parties' obligations and rights.

    In your case, it may be a case of goods not being fresh.  However, in most other cases, there is a huge warehousing cost involved and sellers cannot bring in new goods unless the old goods are collected.  Someone has to be responsible for these business costs and it is always better to clarify this at the outset.
