  1. 1. 1 gallon =3.79 L

    So, the closest answer is 50 L(B)

    2. 4730 ng=4730*10^-9 g= 4.73*10^-6 g

    4.73 × 10-4 g

    4.73 × 103 µg=4.73*10^3*10^-6 g=4.73*10^-3 g

    4.73 × 10-6 kg=4.73*10-6*10^3 g = 4.73*10^-3 g

    E. 47.3 mg =47.3*10^-3 g=4.73*10^-2 g

    So the largest quantity is E

    3. C because 0 after the decimal point is only considered if it is after the value

    4.D because if we add 2 numbers we take the least significant number

    5.0.00471 grams=4.71*10^-3 g = 4.71*10^-3*10^6 µg = 4.71*10^3 µg (B)

    6. 5.2 mg=5.2 * 10^-3 g=5.2*10^-3 *10^9 g = 5.2 * 10^6 (D)

    7.B, like no 4, when we multiply 2 numbers, we also take the least significant number, A can't be chosen because it gives us diffferent result

    8.(3*10^6)(2*10^-3)/(5*10^-2)=(3*2/5) *(10^6*10^-3/10^-2)=6/5 *10^(6-3-(-2))=1.2*10^5(D)

    9.We know that Q=m*C* delta T, C water = 4200 J/kg K, m=0.5 kg, delta T=(25-95)=-70 C=-70 K

    so Q=0.5*4200*-70=-147000 Joule

    1 joule = 0.24 Calories So -147000 joule=-35280 calories( it releases 35280 calories --> D)

    10. m=2.2 kg=2200 g

    density=m/V

    19=2200/V

    V=2200/19=115.789 cm^3 (C)

  2. yeah ok seriously its friday
