  1. lol 1 day isnt enough to get 2 mins of your time,  if i were you the day before your mile run, drink plenty of water, eat alot of carbs, like pasta, and go to sleep early, so you get a full nights rest, then maybe if you wake up strech some legs muscles.

Then about 30 mins before your mile run a warm up run, stretch your legs out.

And then comming to your mile... just run tough, and think to your self.. its only a mile, your not going to die, hahaha thats what i do in my races, just push through and you should do fine,

also think positive, you have to know you'll do good, if you think negatively then you'll do bad

    i hope i helped

also, dont do any hard work outs before your mile, so you dont feel sore then next day, just do a easy 30 min run to open up the day before your mile

  2. if you have lots of time to practice run for a rly long time at a pace at which you can keep going not a sprint but not a walk an easy jog and run that for a long time it builds muscle. but if you have a short amount of time i reccomend practicing twice tommorow running two miles. also if you ever get a cramp breath thru ur mouth it gets rid of it. other then that i suggest eating good soid meals hope this helped

  3. RUN FASTER! Easier said than done ahaha. Be drinking a lot of water from now till your mile run. You should pee clear, eww ya gross but if your not you need to drink more. Really there is nothing you can do in one day, running takes a long time to pay off. I wouldn't do a hard workout the day before you run. Something easy to keep yourself warmed up and loose but nothing to tire you out. Also eat healthy carbs like pasta for dinner the night before you run your meet.

  4. I don't see how you can knock a whole minute plus off your time in only one day.. unless the 8:10 wasn't your best time by a long shot.

  5. make sure ur well hydrated. Make sure you stretch good.

You should look up form and study running.

  6. well today run up the stairs or up a hill for a very long time

eat a good amount of protein tomorrow rest up so your not sore monday and then just give it your all in 3 intervals .

  7. Try running hills (to improve stamina) and eat right!
