  1. net provider.., if you want u can get cablenut for free and it opens up portss ect but i don't think it would help you.

  2. You indicated you used to download at 200 Kbps and now you download at 20 Kbps based upon a speed indicated by a downloading server.

Downloading servers are throttled back from a maximum speed.  Further, as the number of subscribers wanting downloads go up, the speed to all receivers of downloads go down.  This means that the speed of a downloading server is NOT a valid internet speed measurement.

Go to a site that conducts Internet speed and run a speed test for a valid measurement.  Make sure NO ONE else on your LAN is accessing the internet as this would invalidated the test.

If the speed test is markedly slower than the ISP's claimed speed, remove the router from the circuit and disable all wireless links to make sure no one else is on line.  Run the test again.  If it is still far lower than the ISP's claimed speed contact the ISP while you are connected with only 1 pc to their modem and have them address the matter.

My guess is that the Internet speed is accurate and your real problem is that the downloading server is throttled back.

Of course, if you have a nonsecure or poorly secured wireless LAN, the problem may well be freeloaders hacking in and hogging bandwidth  - and you need to address this as well.
