Me and my husband have decided on the name Stephanie Ann Richards and I've thought of different ways to spell the name, which do you like?

Stephanie

Stephani

Which do you like? Help, please? Thank you.

  1. I like Stephanie the best. It is traditional and beautiful. Plus, Stefani is exactly how Gwen Stefani spells her last name. So someone may think her name is Stefani ( ste- fah- nee). Stephinee or Stephanee is a very unique way of spelling it too. : )

    I hope this helps!

  2. Definitely not Stefani. Like many others, it would most likely remind people of Gwen Stefani. Stephani looks like it's being misspelled, and Stefanie still reminds me a bit of Gwen Stefani. So I would go with Stephanie. That's a really pretty name, by the way. :D

Perhaps Stephenie? Like Stephenie Meyer, author of Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn? [:

  3. I think the spelling "Stephanie" is way too overused and boring.

    Go with Stefani or Stefanie.

  4. Stefani

  5. Definately not with an 'f', Stefani reminds me too much of Gwen Stefani, and people would probably pronounce her name like 'StefANi.'

I quite like the original Stephanie, and Stephani is nice also. If you're looking for something modern and original, possibly you could consider 'Stephanye?' Or 'Stephany?'

I hope I helped you, and I wish you both the best of luck!! Congrats!! ☺

  6. Stephanie

  7. just the normal way of spelling stephanie looks good.

  8. You could also do Stefany or Stephany or Stefanie.  Of the 4 you have listed, I like the second spelling best.

  9. Well i like it spelt like Stephenie, the E is jsut something different but out of the spellings youve thought of i like Stefanie the most

  10. I like Stephanie the best.

  11. Stephany

I also had a friend whose name was spelled

    Stephannie

  12. STEFANIE

    STEFUNNIE

    STEPHANY

    STEPHANEE

  13. Stephanie.  If you spell it with any variation, she will be correcting people for her whole life.

  14. I like the first one Stehpanie(also try Stehpany) simple and easy to spell and people might know how to spell it easier

    Good luck<3

  15. Stick with Stephanie

  16. I say stick w/ Stephanie.

  17. Stick with the one and only original.....STEPHANIE.....otherwise, your daughter will have tons of heartache and irritation in life having to correct people over and over when they spell it wrong if you choose an lesser-known spelling.

  18. The correct spelling, Stephanie.

  19. Stephanie is pretty and not too weird of a spelling.

  20. i like stefani! :) and stephanie is good too! :))

    stefanie looks werid :p

  21. Stephanie seems best :)

  22. I think Stephanie is the best spelling to go with, but you could use Stefanie.

Another option is Stephenie, which is also nice.

I suggest you don't use Stefani or Stephani, because people will think you named your daughter after the singer Gwen Stefani. Naming kids after celebrities isn't really cool anymore.

    Hope Ihelped, and good luck.

    xoxo

    Anna

  23. Stephanie.

    Steffanie, perhaps?

  24. I like "Stephanie" the best.

  25. my name is Stephanie!do ont listen to all these negative people the only thing that matters is that you and your husband like the name..and people ask me how to spell my name every day it does not hurt me to quickly spell my name i like the original way best just because not because it is original but i also love Stefani..very simple and easy..if you do not mind me saying i also like Stephany

    congratulations and good luck

  26. I personally favour the conventional spelling, Stephanie, although Stefanie does not look that bad. Stefani will most probably be misprounced and end up Stef-farn-ni or something similiar, and Stephani just looks plain lazy.

  27. I like Stephanie the best. Stefani is nice, but it makes be think of Gwen Stefani. Stephani looks like it's missing something, and Stefanie looks misspelled.

  28. I like the first one or the second one. I like the classy, traditional spellings most of the time. It seems to make it easier for the kids.
