The doctor says "she did not use the (asashery) muscles. When talking about examining the chest/lungs. How do you spell the word in parenthesis? Thanks!

'Accessory' maybe? In respiration, 'accessory muscle use' refers to the visible straining of neck and upper chest muscles in breathing, and usually indicates the patient is having significant difficulty breathing. Not using them in regular breathing is generally a good sign.
