How to spend 4 days in Cairns?

I am going to Cairns for 3-4 days. What activities do you recommend? Backpacker style.

Daintree rainforrest

Kuranda puffing billy ride up and a skyrail ride back.  Spectacular  views and good markets when you get there.

See aboriginal dancers

Hang out with other backpackers

i went there just last yr,

first day just visited the markets and wandered around the town center..

then went to kuranda, do the rainforest walk and the sky thingo coz kuranda it self is pretty boring

then went to green island, pretty nice make sure you snorkle though but i would recomend going on the outa reef which is not on an islamnd but better moneys worth.

and have a drive up to palm cover, daintree, port duglas. you can drive up the furthest you can go by car its pretty awesome(Y))

theres loads of hostels and stuff for backpackers and like travel agency shops and backpackers usuallyu get special deals on there trips out to the snorkling etc

there are some nice markets somewhere out of town (I can't remember the name of the place... it's up a huge winding mountain road though..)
