In dancing I really want to become better at turning. I am quite good at single pirouets and have done a double a few times now but the thing is a get really dizzy when turning quickly from each corner of the room. Please helps as i want to become better at them. Also does anyone know anout any good exercises for building up stronger core muscles?

  1. Try and focus on a spot all the time. It helps get rid of the dizzyness .

  2. Pointier your toe is, the less friction there is with the floor and better is your spin.

To get better core muscles, do leg press. Press your toes against the press, just bring up the press against you and press down with your toes (all 10 simultaneously). Repeat 3 sets 10 reps each. Increase the weight by 5 lbs. the next day till you reach failure. As you build muscle, you can increase 5 more lbs. etc..

This exercise is for your calf muscles. Concentrate. It is not for your upper thighs or for your knees.

You will actually see your calf muscles improve.
