I have tried many times before but i just can't stand up on the wakeboard. I have had many peole try to help me but I just can't do it. I can ski on one ski as well so I dont think it is my lack of experience behind a boat. I start off with my board straight across and I just seem to plough through the water and I can't hold on so I let go. Please Help me what am I doing wrong?

  1. keep ur knees close to ur chest den wen da boat starts going just stand up and quickly turn ur board sidewayz

  2. you can do a google search on how to go about doing it.

  3. I think the easiest way to earn is sit in the water with your knees to your chest and your arms with the rope  between your legs.  Have the boat start to pull you slowly but DO NOT try to stand up too early.  After a few seconds of pulling you should pop up automatically.  Hope that helps

  4. well, you're probably not letting the boat pull you up and your trying to pull yourself up. you can't do that. first do what you normally do and try to feel what your doing wrong. whether your leaning to far up trying to hang on or w/e. first, you have to lean back a little when you start and once the boat pulls you up for about 2 sec. then you turn into your position.

also, maybe the person driving the boat needs to speed up or slow down. try each one and see which one helps more. my driver starts out med/slow then speeds up once i'm up and turned.

    i hope this helped.(=

  5. Hello,

OK, before the boat begins to pull you, make sure your board is parallel with the back of the boat. Then, (this is the most important thing) keep your knees tucked into your chest, doing this should pull you right up on top of the water. Once on top of the water you simply just stand up.

    Hope it work for you.
