How do you start a Municipial town in North Carolina.

A definite territory, a permanent population and income required to become a municipality.  There must be a plebiscite among the people affected including the people of the city or town where the new town will emerge.

Butner is one of the most recent towns in North Carolina to incorporate, if not the most recent. You may actually be able to talk to a town councilman, the mayor, Rep. Crawford or Sen. Berger and they may point you in the direction of who you need to talk to.
