  1. Plan what activities you want in each one: maybe books, drawing, listening to tapes, quiet play with toys, or play-dough.  Then decide where to put them, what equipment you need (tables and chairs, bookcases).  Then decide how to organize the supplies so they'll be easy to get out & put away, quickly & quietly.  Then, set it up!

  2. each center (ie. books, science, computer, sm. manipulatives--puzzles, large manipulatives--balls, kitchen.dress up) need to be separated so they are distinct.

  3. you stop it with da amigo.

    thanks for 2 points amigo!

  4. First you want to look around your area and make sure that all learning centers can be separate, but if you do have to put them close by then put noisy center with noisy centers, such as you don't want to put a reading center next to your blocks or dramatic center.  then you have to decide what centers would be the most beneficial to your students. i prefer having at least of one subject in the classroom. science, writing, reading, history, geography, math, art, the list can go on (but don't do every center that is under the sun, because you can change them through the year) then you have to decide if you want all group activities, individual learning, or a mix.  their are so many great websites that will help you with getting the centers put together (go to goggle and type in preschool learning centers).  putting together centers is something that takes time (setting up rules, explain the center, setting everything up) if you take the time with your centers then the children will get a great deal out of them, if you just put them together you will have ciaos.  good luck
