How to start a head lice removal business?

Me and my friend had a little neighbor girl come over and I found out she had head lice, so I took my time out to pick them all out,but I was thinkin I bet there are alot of people out there that would be willing to pay be big money to remove there childs lice! Would we need a liscense to just make house calls like go to there house and get the lice out? Or would it be better to open a shop?If so either way what liscensing do I need? Thankyou

There are pro nitpickers out there aleady and some are franchise based while others just launch their own business.

You do not want a shop as the health authorities will not like you treating people with head lice at your store - hair dressers need to turn them away.

Do this as a housecall business and charge for your time ($30 - 50 per hour) and for the products that you use and also have products to sell at the end of the session.

I KNOW that many of the housecall nitpickers use the NitFree brand of products in their business as they are chemcial free and they get them at a wholesale/bulk price direct from the manufacturer  and then charge full retail to the client to add to their margins.

I woudl start by contacting NitFree and then figuring out how to advertise in your area that you are doing this.  You can make really GOOD money at this and I would not go the franchise route.

You do not need a license but you would make BIG MONEY with this.  I researched online.  No place to get certified, medical but not medical..  I would not wast money on the overhead t get a place.  House calls.

Most people either buy lice products in stores or they go to their hairdresser, so you could become a hairdresser.

This might help you to figure out a low cost recipe to remove/kill lice safely with herbal medicine.

I am in Bangkok, Thailand - a Third world country where a lot of children in up-country bothered by lice.

They use leaves of " Sweet apple" to get rid of rice.

Blend the leaves with blender. Mask on the head for 30 minutes, wash of, you iwll get good result.

Thanks to my Mom. She told me she had that when she was a kid - with lice of course
