How to start a new COOL group at school?

well at school im sick and tired of the so called 'POPULAR KIDS"they are so annoing n they think dey all dat plz help ive been trying to start a new group bt i dont have the rite ppl well i think i dont bt anyway give me some tips not"dnt be lyk the cool kids like yourself as who u are"not that i need serious tips!!its now in your hands

If you're saying that you don't want tips like, 'be yourself' then it seems like all you want is to have a seperate but conforming group. And that makes you just as bad as all the 'cool kids'. You're saying you dont think you have the right people, well, you have to respect and accept people for who they are because you have no right to change them. If you wanna group which contrasts to the 'cool kids' then accept everyone. I was in a 'group' at school - boys, girls, asians, wogs, nerds, sporty kids, etc. Everyone accepted everyone and quite often 'cool kids' would come to talk to people in our group. It's in YOUR hands, you should always be yourself, or you'll be lying your entire life.

Ok, so you don't want to be yourself, you want to be just like the popular kids but separate from them - or moreso?  If you think about it, it doesn't really work that way.  

Guess what - they're not popular because they dress a certain way, or talk a certain way, etc.  They're popular because they're confident.  They're popular because they don't feel that they have to be like everyone else.  They may dress a certain way and talk a certain way, but that's not *why* they're popular.

So...if you want to start a new popular group, you have to have confidence.  You have to be happy with who you are and who your friends are.  That's what makes people look, and that's what makes people want to be around you.  Yes, you can dress and act and talk a certain way, but without confidence in who you are, everyone sees it for what it is - posing.

So actually, it's in your hands.  What are you going to do with it?

wait, let me get this straight, you want to be cool by being uncool? By that i mean, the way you want to be cool is by being another. It doesnt go like that...psh, being cool is just being you, u disagree with it, thats alright, just remember being cool isnt following others, its leading(not bullying).

Think of it this way,Cheerleaders lead the school in spirits and most of the time considered cool.

Jocs lead the school at sports, thats cool too.

I have many friends at school considered cool, but they do their unique stuff,  some are funny, some are athletic, and another likes to play the guitar. Basically, being cool is just being you, you may not agree with that but, thats your issue not mine.

haha.. that's easy, people that don't try.

i mean, if you're looking through magazines

and looking at the latest "trends" and c**p like that,

please, you're being like everyone else.

the fact that they're "popular" is just that they're chill.

they don't CARE about being cool.

kinda like, they know they are,

but they don't give a hoot about it.

unless you go to those completely stereotypical schools,

where the popular kids are the jocks and dumb blondes.

just talk to everyone. not to the point where it gets annoying,

but just.. communicate. interact.

before long, they'll be like, "oh, do you know ________?

yeah, they're super cool!"

I agree that you need to have more confidence and be yourself. Like another answerer said, this is the Home school section, we home school in part because we don't believe in the social hierarchy of public school.

You REALLY need to work on grammar and writing. That is just sad, I'm sorry.

Well, heres my opinion. DON'T BOTHER ON MAKING A COOL GROUP. It CAN!!! lead to major problems. Like, fist-fights..fights....detention...ETC. I know its just a group, but others who are not in this "group" will get mad...really mad. Trust me. Let the "POPULAR GROUP" have fun. I know you hate how they act like they are all that but it doesn't mean you should fight fire with fire (If I am totally mis-understanding please ignore this lol) But anyways, its not cool to try to fight the Popular Group with your Cool Group. The "Popular Group" will get mad if you call your group the "Cool Group" because it sounds like your stealing their group name but you really don't want to. The Popular Kids can be annoying but you got to let them be them. Try to join a group that is already made (Other than the popular group) I really hope this helps :)

Do you realize this is the home school group?

Most of us have chosen to home educate because we have rejected the social circus you are describing.  We would rather concentrate on academic strengths and helping our children become strong individuals.

What you have described sounds like an appalling waste of time energy and emotion.  

Perhaps you could spend the time to improve your abysmal writing skills.

the coolest group of all is the group at school that has people in that just want to be themselves and nobody else. kids who just want to relax and have fun. that is what makes a cool group
