How to start a newspaper like "thrifty nickle" or "Coffee Talk"?

Does anyone have any experience publishing a newspaper? The kind you pick up free at the local market that sells advertising space to local people. What are the legal things to look out for?How to get advertisers and how to produce it?

Based on your question you have a lot of learning to do that requires more space then Yahoo will allow.

You might want to read some books on the subject:

Before you start understand that it takes deep pockets to do this since its a VERY risky venture.
