How to start a romantic story???!!!???

Hi, ive just started my last year at school, and I am taking higher english. We have to write a personal/reflective piece, and Im writing a sort of romantic, love novel. I've never actually wrote anything like this before and I was wondering if anyone could help me with how to begin it. I'll be fine once i've got past the first leap. Thanks.

It was a dark night when she realized that loved him.  He had just dropped her off from some lame party that they had gone to.  They had left early because it was a lame party and she was not feeling like herself.  She let herself into her house and went up to her room.  As she was laying there waiting for his phone call, the chest pain was getting stronger.  It was at that moment that she realized that it was because of him.  She was so anxious to get his phone call it was causing her pain....
