I'm trying to put something a little extra to my club witch usually does nothing but sit down and look at anime episodes on the television. I want to stand out in the school and make the anime club really cool.

  1. crazy stuff like anime costume copetition or anime cook out? or maybe anime sports or anime games or action figures sale theres alot of things to do use your creativity

  2. draw...some...anime

  3. have like anime drawing contests, or see who can make the best amv, or have anime conventions and stuff like that.

  4. Try making images that you maybe print out from a pc, create a logo or something that represent you! the print it out and carry it on folders with see through covers. Take it a step forward and make shirts!  Create a myspace just for you guys, also blogg about anime and always reference back to your myspace. Buy a page on the yearbooks and represent your clubs! just have fun and be creative!

  5. Mascot contests are always fun. Find a nearby screen print shop, and figure out details. Have the members compete to see who makes the best design. This'd give the club advertisement at school and maybe get more people interested in joining, or make it look like you're all more of a group.

Also, maybe have an anime Yard Sale kind of thing within the group. Have as many people as possible bring anime merchandise that they don't like anymore and do a raffle. If someone brings in items, give them a certain amount of tickets. If anyone else wants tickets, have them pay for tickets.

Example: $1 = One envelope marked "1" filled with 5 pieces of paper marked with the number "1".

This isn't so much as to make the club cooler, but to spice things up. A lot of people are stuck with things they're not so interested anymore, and it'd be a good opportunity for everyone to get rid of items.
