  1. I am (not trying to brag) a good speech writer/speaker. It depends which point of view you're coming from.

If you were positive e.g. it's good then to use points such as:

If a customer has a heavy load and staff are busy, they wouldn't have to go as far. If a customer has young children in car then they can zip in while keeping an eye on them.

If you say that they shouldn't then:

    The same but opposite.

    You could start with:

'How many times have you needed to go into a shop while keeping an eye on something in your car? If you could park in the entrance EVERY time, then it could save stress, anger and your reputation with others.'

    Or maybe:

'Imagine if EVERY time you came home and someone had parked in front of your garage or parking spot, no where else around to park; you had a heavy load/a lot of items need to be disturbed and worst of all, someone was expecting you. This is how the truck drivers feel when people park in front of store entrances, when they need to deliver something.'

Or start off about elderly, overweight etc

Good luck with your speech, and I hope this helps a bit!

  2. The dangers of parking your vehicle by any store entrance can be both harmful to you as well as others.
