How to start the web radio and FM station?

i would like to start a radio station for entertiment, what are the basic needs and equipements and any new technical ideas, plz give me that

Well if you want to make an FM station you need alot of equipement. You need mics, computers, headphones, a 100 foot tall broadcasting tower, a transmitter, a few different boards one for broadcasting and one to make productions. You also need a licence from the FCC but thats if you want to make a real station. You also need to get known so bands will send you demos and albums. My station just gets cds up the wazoo that we dont even use. It takes alot of money to start a station. Also you need to hire DJs and you need to get your Frequency number and Call letters. These are given with your licence from the FCC. You also need to know the FCC requirements for certain things. Alos you need to decide if your a commertial free station or one with commertials. You also need to choose one of three classes Class A Class B and Class C this detrmine the strengh of your transmitter and how far the signal goes. Also you must decide if you want an FM station or an AM.

If you want to start your own Internet Radio Station the cheapest and easiest method is using Winamp (free). Before you start your station, check your local laws regarding Royalties (money) that needs to be paid to Bands and Artists if you play their Music. Most Countries require Internet Radio Stations to have a Internet Broadcasting Permit. The Permit you can obtain can also cover royalties (just depends on what permit provider you select). Be careful selecting a provider, some only cover pre-defined areas in the world that internet radio stations are permitted and can legally Broadcast to.(certain countries laws and/or governments will forbid or regulate music streams available on the net)    You will also need a Stream Host for your show. The stream host provides you with a server and stream url for the listeners to connect with. A couple Free Server Hosts are around, but they really are NOT reliable or recommended. Your best bet is a paid host.
