Don't be willing to listen to girls talk about their problems. That puts you right into the friend zone. So don't do it.

A lot of guys fall into this trap because they act like puppy dogs or Helpy Helpertons. They follow a girl around, hoping to do things to get their attention, but all they do is "friend stuff". She'll think of you as a friend and not feel attraction. Don't be rude, but don't fall all over yourself trying to earn points. Better yet, let this link help you out.
