How to stay in Cuba for 12 weeks

Question

i herd a visa only allows you to stay in cuba for 4 weeks then u need to apply for another 1 in cuba for another 4 weeks which in total allows you to stay for 8 weeks, is there anyway to stay their for 12 weeks if you intentions are to study out their?

Previously I'd mentioned for Canadians, our visa lasts for 90 days (12 weeks) and for a stay of more than 90 days, one can request an extension of another 3 months at any tourism office in Cuba, for a maximum stay of 6 months.

This link is good for you being from England. Your visa is for 30 days (4 weeks). If you require a longer stay extensions are to be made in Cuba at any tourism office.

Click on Student Visas and it will open an application form for you....in that form you will find: "Student visas are issued in 48 hours minimum and they are just for ONE entry in Cuba for a maximum stay of 30 days. Longer stays will require extensions made in Cuba."

For a Tourist Visa/Card, it is valid only for one entry within 180 days after the date of issue. It is valid for a 30-day stay in Cuba, extendable in Cuba for a further 30 days maximum.

So the best route for you to take is applying for a Student Visa when going to Cuba.
