ok. well here's the thing.....

i run about..maybe 2 miles a night(or a little less). i just have a problem with staying committed to it. i mean, don't get me wrong. i push myself.. just not enough i'm afraid. when i get back from running, i get all happy and proud of myself. =) but before i get out there, it seems sooooooooo easy to just put it off. and i don't like running..... i'm not one of those ppl that find it easy. and i'm definatly in no shape to say i love it. i just want a solution to my problem... how can i stay motivated to get out there and run?

thanks so much for reading this..

i just need an answer so i'll be happy with whatever you say.

=)

  1. I know what you mean.

I am training for cross country, and sometimes I just want to give up so bad and walk the miles but I don't. I tell my self why am I doing this, I am doing this to strengthen my heart, Get strong, and to represent my school. It really makes me push a little bit harder and get though it. It also helps to listen to music, if you have great music it will push you and get upbeat songs near the end of your run to keep you going. You can do those things while you are running.

Before running- Just do it! If I skip a day I feel mad at myself the next day. Do it! Keep track of how long and how often you do to keep you motivated. Think of yourself running and having fun and imainge yourself after feeling great, that should get you going. Make yourself. Do it. It isn't a easy thing to do but do it! Reward yourself too. Like say if I run all this month and never skip I can go get a new pair of shoes, or say if I run all week I can have junk food when I am done or whatever gets you out there! Just remember why you are doing it and remember it will make you strong and healthy. Plus, it helps you lose weight. Just get out there and do it!

    Good luck sweetie ♥

I have faith in you, I know you can do it!

  2. Registar for a race.. somthing small like a 5k. That will give you a reason to train.  Or set some small goals that you can work towards... write them down and post them some where that you can see them all the time, tell your friends what they are so they can help hold you to them

  3. i wish i could help you but im in the same position as you

i wish you the best of luck
