  1. large pan like a 16 quart stock pot

    live bugs

    bring water to the boil

you can add old bay for seasoning if you wish or not

drop in your bugs, about 3 -4 quarts

    put the lid on

cook then till they turn bright red and remove

cool and crack and eat or freeze

  2. boiling and steaming are both moist heat cooking methods but have differant applications..i,ve never steamed a lobster, i have boiled one..steaming is cooking with the steam from the water usually at an elevated level above the water, great for veggies..not sure if its the best way to cook a lobster,it will take a while, you would have to make sure that there is an airtight seal to cook something like a lobster that is dense and heavy..my opinion.. toss it in boiling water while its alive..thats the best way..

  3. I always boil mine (crayfish), I have never steamed.

For freezing after the cooked cray's are cold I wrap them in newspaper.

They retain their freshness that way.
