How to stop Masturbating as it has an obsession ?

I have been science student but still i feel masturbation has become an obsession rather than self pleasure . i want to get rid of it .

  1. I have answered this question a number of times and here is what people found easy to get rid of masturbation

    When you get the urge

    1 indulge in some other physical activity like dancing or running on treadmill , and then decide i will m********e , after completing these many number of steps(which should be so that will exhaust you or will take considerable time) . These urges are very strong and rapid , it does fade if not taken within few minutes and leave a regret for doing that , therefore indulge in activity which take stamina and time both.

    2 Meditation , it will improve your concentration and will power

    3) Avoid p**n

    4) Keep yourself busy everytime

    5) Dont lay on bed until you really feel drowsy

    6)Eat vegetarian diet.

    7) Read religious books.

    8) Dont take much time in bathing

    9)Make a time table leaving no time to think anything absurd like jogging for 1 hour , then yoga , then going college etc,writing an essay etc.

    Perhaps try wearing a rubber band around your wrist. Whenever you feel like masturbating pull the rubber band and instead do a positive habit instead, like taking a deep breath or stretching or multiplying two numbers or something.
