What is the best way to stop my dripping faucet. It is dripping a lot and the faucet k***s are all the way off. It's very annoying. I shouldn't have to pay a plumber to stop a dripping faucet should I?

  1. probably a worn out gasket,a rubber  O ring or something like that, but it may be easiest to just head to the hardware store and look for a complete replacement faucet that fits your plumbing. no need for a plumber if you have basic skills and tools.

  2. A pretty girl like u shouldn't  have to pay. Under the sink there should be a k**b for the water pressure just turn it down

  3. The dripping won't stop until you replace the washers. No, you don't need a plumber. Shut the water off in your home, where the main shut off is. Next, with a screwdriver, unscrew the s***w in the middle of each faucet k**b. Take the washers to the hardware store with you & tell the sales person, that you need new washers. Replace the new washers, put the faucet k**b back on, & s***w the s***w back into the faucet k**b. Don't apply too much pressure when doing so or you'll strip it. A dripping faucet is not only annoying but it's $$$$ down the drain.
