How to stop black dye coming off shoes???

I was wondering if you could help me out. I bought a pair of black dress shoes. They are nice leather Italian shoes from Nordstrom. For some reason there is black stuff coming off the leather on the outside. If I lightly rub a tissue on it, the tissue is all black. It doesn't seem to be shoe polish since they haven't been polished yet. I took them back and bought another brand, Kenneth Cole. Same problem.What is causing this and how do I fix it? Is this some sort of dye coming off the shoes? Is there some sealent I can put on to stop it? I had put some Kiwi Leather Cuir sponge clear liquid on the shoes to shine them up before going out one night. I looked at my jeans where the jeans fell over the shoes and the jeans were all black. How do I stop this?Thanks a million for any information!
