Chemical drain cleaners will not clean the whole clog out, and could damage your pipes with repeated use. You will need to get a pipe snake and clean out the drain. this is messy, but it is the only way to really clean it out.

i used to use Draino

it comes in this little pouch in a powder form.

Use one every 2-3 weeks or so

it should keep ur bathtub drain in great form
