How to stop clothes from shrinking in the dryer?

im 14yrs old i have a lot of clothes but each time i dry them they shrink dramatiaclly i buy 3xl and they shirnk to like a Large i put it on the lowest for the heat

and i put like 40 mins what can i do to stop the shrinking also hangin my clothes is a posability...

im worryies because im gonna start high school and im going to buy a lot of clothes but im worrried that in a week they will all be shrinked up when my clothes shrinks i dont wear it anymore

  1. add more water to cool down the dryer.


  2. The heat is what shrinks the fabric. Follow the directions on the label. If you find that things still shrink on the low heat setting, use only the fluff air cycle.

  3. cotton Tshirts are big offenders in that the torso part shrinks upwards. Do two things:

    Turn the heat setting to as low as you can, or the "air fluff" setting

    this will take considerably longer but make a difference

    Any particularly valuable or favorite Tshirts should be hung dried on a hanger. the gravity combined with room temperature will allow a much more desired drying.
